HISTORY
1975 Kawasaki KX400
known for its powerful engine but often considered a step behind the best in its class. The bike featured a 398cc two-stroke engine, five-speed transmission, and a steel frame, though it had limited rear suspension travel in stock form, which was often upgraded by owners.

The KX is by no means a slow motorcycle. With good traction, it'll stay side by side with an RM, however put it on the track with bumps, holes and jumps, and its another story. The suspension was not exactly plush compared to the competition at the time. Although it may not have been the best handling bike for ‘76 you cannot deny the power of the KX.

JTR
We ride, race and restore vintage motorcycles. Every single bike we buy and sell, we personally go through. My father Chris Reed, born in ‘59 has been racing and repairing these bikes since they were new. He had me on a JR50 at 4 years old and I cut my teeth on race tracks around the United States. I eventually sharpened my craft working under the wing of Peter Boggia (Moto Borgotaro) where I serviced and restored some of the rarest motorcycles on the planet.
I believe these bikes should go to people who will love, and appreciate them. You’re not just buying a bike from us, you’re supporting a brand that is deeply committed to celebrating these badass machines and preserving the vintage racing community.
