HISTORY

The BSA B25 was the fastest British production 250 and the B50 MX was the last competition motorcycle ever built by BSA.

As the name suggests, the B50 MX was the motocross version of the standard B50. It was designed exclusively for off road competition with as much weight saving as possible. This is a 1971 B25 that has been modified with MX parts.

The BSA B50 went on to become a popular lightweight vintage scrambler with plenty of torque and a much lighter, more manageable construction that makes it easier to ride off road than other British off roaders of the era like the Triumph TR6 and the Norton P11.

JTR

We ride, race and restore vintage motorcycles. Every single bike we buy and sell, we personally go through. My father Chris Reed, born in ‘59 has been racing and repairing these bikes since they were new. He had me on a JR50 at 4 years old and I cut my teeth on race tracks around the United States. I eventually sharpened my craft working under the wing of Peter Boggia (Moto Borgotaro) where I serviced and restored some of the rarest motorcycles on the planet.

I believe these bikes should go to people who will love, and appreciate them. You’re not just buying a bike from us, you’re supporting a brand that is deeply committed to celebrating these badass machines and preserving the vintage racing community.
